Email from Feb 9th 2010

yo hows it going!so i guess i will start off with the good news! I got made Trainer this last week and i will start training tomorrow. I am the only missionary out for 3 months and already traiining. i am really excited. I am really excited jsut to be senior companion! haha i finally get to be incharge of what we do. I did love serving with elder riggs though. there was definitely ups and downs but for the most part. good. I dont know my new companions name yet. i will find out tomorrow. I will get to email everyone again tomorrow just so you know. when the new elders come in, we basically go straight to hte library so that he can tell his family he got here ok! so i basically get to pdays in a row. but i wont be able to email until late tomorrow. like 4 or 5. i am really excited. The obedience is paying off! But we have been giving a lot more "7 day challenges" lately so that is good. we basically tell members they have to find us someone to teach in 7 days. even though most of the time they dont find any one for us. at least we are doing our job. We have given several invitations to non members to be baptized this last week. one said maybe, she had to pray about it. so that is awesome! but the other people were pretty quick to say no. that is ok! i know that the lord will bless us and put people in my path!

so this week me and elder riggs decided to do some service for the womens shelter. Bad decision.... We scraped about 6 inches of ice off of their whole drive way. we didnt think it would be to bad. yeah it was definitely bad... terrible...My hands still hurt and that was on saturday! elder riggs has a huge blister. i just got swelling and bruising. it was pretty brutal. but hey. it took up a couple of hours so we were happy. i have just been very tired since then hahah. so what else happened this week..... We continued to be 100% obedient. which i am still excited about. it is alot easier to be obedient then to feel bad about what you have done..

So dana says i jump all over the place in my letters?? yeah i know i do. i just think of stuff and write it! haha i dont care i am just getting the info to you guys! so dev you sending me any ties yet? ya know you are all welcome to send packages! :) hopefully i will get a few at transfers tomorrow.. this transfer i am wearing each tie one time. i will just need about 4 more ties to go the whole transfer. (i started a couple days ago with wearing every tie once.)so katie and shawn are going to the globetrotters game tonight? that is pretty awesome. I: went last year with dad and devin and dusty? i think, it was a lot of fun.. coleman will love it. it is kind of frustrating when they stop in the middle of the play. when it is on the jazz floor, you feel like you are going to actually see a real game..... yeah not so much. well i dont know what else to say! so i will let ya all go. i love you guys. i miss you all!
